why “Save and Continue Editing” is such a popular button

save. save. save. save.

that’s all you fucking do when you work on a word doc. you probably have never even realized it until now.

too many bad experiences losing everything. so much wasted time. you always want to know your copy is saved up to date. you hit CTRL+S all the time, don’t you? you glutton!

back to the point, “Save and Continue Editing” gives the writer a quick and easy way to feel secure, yet continue writing at a quick pace.

earlier generation editors made clicking “Save” bring you to a different list page but now wordpress and many editors allow you to continue writing immediately after clicking on a save.

this is an adaptation of software… think about it from what the designers originally thought was the best design for an editor and then it evolving over time to show what features end up where.

oh uh

i just clicked

i love being “unreachable”

isnt it great when you get to tell people, “hey listen up… for the next few days i’m going to be unreachable.”

wow…

“during that time, i will have no access to phone or email.”

now i’m starting to think.. where the fuck are you going? the rain forest? fucking sahara?
the bottom line is it makes you 100% off the hook for anything that should happen. hey, you gave fair warning.

ticket logic

i think this logic is pretty good. what do you think?

ok i speed and drive in the car pool lane sometimes… here is my logic

sitting in traffic is bullshit. my time is worth money to me and sitting in traffic for 2 hours before i get home wastes a lot of my time after work.

i realize there are rules and i am willing to pay the fines if i get a ticket for breaking the law. its worth it to me. my time is worth that money.

maybe if i get 3 tickets and my license is in jeopardy i’ll rethink how important my time is to me, but for now i’ll pay tickets to get my time back.

and if i dont get tickets maybe there should be more cops if they care about enforcing this law

doesn’t that sound reasonable? i bet you thought you would never agree with a car pool sneak ;)

bear grills to replace jeff probst as survivor host

bear grills is the new host of survivor.

after a medley of online petitions cbs finally folded to the pressure and hired bear grills as the new host.

i’d start watching survivor again

UPDATE: ROOMMATE DENIES DELICIOUS EGG SPLIT FOR ONLY $1.30

something happened tonight that blew my mind

blew my f–ing mind

18 omega organic eggs… the total price @ costco was $2.59 making the cost $1.30 each

9 delicious eggs for $1.30? what a steal right?

wrong. the roommate refused to split the eggs.

i said “ok fine.”

i immediately took the eggs out of the fridge and made a huge delicious omelet in front of him.

he was lucky that i let him opt back into the egg split after so much disrespect

streaming from the file system is way quicker than remote desktop

ie streaming music via file shares or remote desktop

rdp is def not optimized for music… they should put that in a seperate channel
